Merhaba! (Hello in Turkish)

Izmir, Turkey’s third largest city is steeped in history that goes back to the age of the Trojans. Izmir also has Roman ruins and it is argued that the First World War began at the Clock Tower in this city. The Clock Tower has become symbolic to the city and can be seen from anywhere in the city including the port. There are plenty of places to visit in Izmir. Located by the sea, Izmir is blessed with beautiful landscapes and the city looks spectacular at night. This international port city is also known as Turkey’s windy city. There are many exciting things to do in Izmir.
