The months from November to February experience a cool climate, with temperatures at their lowest. From March to June, the climate is hot, with temperatures rising as high as 40°C. Tropical monsoons hit most of Thailand from July to October, drenching the country with frequent rains.

The best weather is between the months of December and February, and March onwards, the temperature starts rising, reaching peak levels by the months of April and May. When it comes to the west coast destinations like Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, Krabi, and so on, again, November to March are the best seasons. By the last week of the month of May, the monsoon season starts, lasting until October.
