Situated in the South Caucasus region of Eurasia segment at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia, the Republic of Armenia is a beautiful mountainous country surrounded by the de facto independent Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and Azerbaijan to the east, Turkey to the west, Georgia to the north and Azerbaijani exclave of Nakhchivan and Iran on the south. Rich in ancient history and lapped up by beautiful touristic cities and villages, this ex-Soviet state smells of a quintessential old school charm.

Armenia was the first country to adopt Christianity right in the 4th century when Christianity was made the state’s religion in 301 AD.
