Brno Tourism

Dobry! (Hello in Czech)

Situated at the confluence of the rivers Svitava and Svratka, Brno is the historical capital city of the Margraviate of Moravia, thriving since the prehistoric times. A city that brims with exhibition centers, trade fairs, motorbike and other prestigious races, Brno also holds the famous international fireworks competition, Ignis Brnensis, which is highly popular with locals and visitors alike. Rich in ancient history, the city shows off its majestic grace with the three existing castles and fortresses and other medieval monuments that are recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites. Also, being haven for food and beer-lovers, there are a lot of places where you can savour mouth-watering food and quench your thirst. Brno is not yet fully discovered by international tourists and this helps the modest number of visitors to experience the calmness of this Neolithic town in its full glory.
