dubai The much-awaited Dubai Jazz Festival is all set to rock Dubai in February next year. The much-awaited music festival will be held from 24th-26th February 2016 at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. Founded and organised by Chillout Productions, Dubai Jazz Festival 2016 promises to be bigger than ever. “Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival has grown from strength to strength since its inception back in 2003 and this year’s unprecedented success testifies the event’s perennial appeal and its ability to evolve in accordance to the ever changing needs of the region’s increasingly discerning and sophisticated music fans and concert going crowd,” said Anthony Younes, co-founder and CEO of Chillout Productions. “We are already in advance talks with local authorities discussing various concepts that will further boost the popularity, reach and appeal of Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival 2016 and we hope that details can be revealed soon,” he further added. Dubai Jazz Festival 2015 was a screaming success and it saw an all-time record high crowd of more than 30,000 attendees. The 13th edition of the event, also saw live performances by celebrated singers like John Legend, Sting, James Blunt, Christina Perri, Lindsey Stirling, and Esperanza Spalding. Located in Dubai Media City, Dubai Media City Amphitheatre is an award winning venue with a capacity to accommodate up to 15,000 people. One of Dubai’s most crowded locations for music festivals, it has hosted a number of notable local as well as international events including famous concerts, festivals, business gatherings, and award ceremonies. Apart from Dubai Jazz Festival, Dubai International Film Festival, and the Taste of Dubai Festival are some of the renowned events held at DMC Amphitheatre.
