Remember the firm XDubai which launched the XLine zipline over the Dubai Fountain back in 2015? Well, they’re back! This time around, a zipline is set to swoop across the vast Dubai Marina, with an ultimate landing on the rooftop of the Marina Mall, giving the “City of Superlatives” its newest attraction!
Zip Line in Dubai Marina!
This time, XDubai have also unveiled a tandem XLine, making it possible for two zipliners to simultaneously swoosh across the shimmering waters of the Dubai Marina. What’s more, this new zipline allows daredevils to tear across the sky lying down (unleash your inner Superman), instead of sitting upright.

Spanning almost a kilometre over the Marina, the XLine is all set to have your adrenaline soaring, by taking zipliners to a maddening speed of 60 kilometres per hour, within 2.5 seconds of launching! With the branding being unveiled only on November 11, the timings and prices are yet to be announced.
In the pipeline: Yet another sprawling zipline, over 2,500 metres long, is set to open in Ras Al Khaimah, before the end of 2017! Interestingly, this zip line is projected to be the world’s highest zip line, at almost 2,000 metres above sea level! Also, it is expected to have a capacity to accommodate up to 1,20,000 people every year, and will have two parallel wires.
