  4. Leave it to Dubai to have indoor skiing in the dessert. Talk about luxury. It is quite fun, but what would be really great is skiing on the sand dunes. I’m sure that’s possible over there. Basically the world is your oyster out in Dubai with enough cash. If you run out of cash, though, the airport gives out free sandwiches to those in need and even free blankets so you can stay warm as the blast the A/C while it’s 115F outside. I love that place.

  7. There seems to be such a variety of things to do in Dubai. I think this must be because the country is a combination of large desert areas and urban areas of some of the tallest buildings on Earth. I think it would be very expensive doing some of these things. Such as arriving at the hotel Burj Al Arab by helicopter. Although the tourist attractions such as the dolphins bay seem appealing to mostly everyone.

  9. Have to admit, I didn’t know there was this much to do in Dubai. Always thought it looked exotic, but now will have to move it up on my “Go to” list.

  10. The centerpiece of Dubai is perhaps its world class malls that stand as an epitome of elegance and opulence.Due to its location in the northern desert belt, Dubai features a tropical desert climate, with extremely hot and dry summers and mild winters. While the temperature usually goes higher than 45 degree Celsius during summer, it ranges from 14 to 23 degree Celsius in winter. But, driving down the desert with a four wheeler is my main attraction.Brilliant islands of dubai are mesmerizing.

  11. I recently visited Dubai and I took a venture out into the desert. I decided to ride the quad bikes there and I must say it was a thrilling experience that I would recommend to anyone who visits Dubai. The sand dunes make for a wild, bumpy ride.

  12. How life-altering would it be to skydive over Dubai and be looking at that as you come down? It’s such a beautiful city. 18. The last time I was in Dubai it was as a stopoverto Europe from Australia and I stayed in the airport. It looks like it’s definitely worth spending a few days given how many sites there are to see. I would like to know if there are any clothing restrictions or recommendations for women travelling to Dubai? Given how hot it gets in summer I would want to wear light clothing but not offend the locals.

  19. Dubai was never somewhere on my holiday ‘hit’ list, but over the past few years more and more of my friends have been and nobody has a bard word to say about it and now I am changing my opinion based on their glowing reports. It seems that there is something for everyone whether you want to immerse yourself in the local culture or live it up in the Western bars and nightclubs. I definitely have a foot in both camps; sightseeing and cultural activities by day, cocktails and dancing by night! And I will definitely have to take a trip on a yacht – being on the ocean is my happiest place.
