Umm Al Emarat Park – Abu Dhabi
Umm Al Emarat Park, also known as Mushrif Park, was constructed in the year 1982 as a special park for ladies and children in Abu Dhabi. It is located in the heart of the city, and is considered as one of the largest as well as the oldest parks in Abu Dhabi. Al Ain Properties LLC worked closely with a huge team of international landscape designers, contractors and architects to design this park. The design is actually meant to honor the memory and legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who was known for initiating the reservation of the natural history and cultural heritage of the United Arab Emirates.

After extensive renovations, which took nearly 24 months, the newly reopened park is home to various new facilities such as a Children’s Garden, a Shade House, an Amphitheatre, Animal Barn, Great Lawn, Evening Garden and Botanic Garden.
The Animal Barn has been opened in partnership with the Emirates Park Zoo and is home to 12 different kinds of animals, including pony, cow, camel and a baby goat. The amphitheater is a huge outdoor venue for performing arts, which is capable of accommodating more than 1,000 visitors at one go. The much-acclaimed Shade House is a gigantic moisture controlled structure that is home to a large number of plant species. There are two upper-level decks here, which offer panoramic views of the lush green environs all around.
