Most flights to Georgia land at this airport. The Tbilisi Airport used to be referred to as the Novo Alexeyevka International Airport.

The Kutaisi Airport, operating with KUT as its IATA code and UGKO as its ICAO code, is also one of the busiest airports of the country. It is also referred to as the David the Builder Kutaisi International Airport. It is located 14 kms away from the main city center of the city of Kutaisi.
