Amazing people in Bahrain, made many friends, and plan to travel with them. Very adventurous people live there, I had no idea. Simply put, HolidayMe did a bang up job of arranging this awesome package for me. Keep up the good work guys.
We had a lovely time in Bahrain, it is a great destination to find out all about the history of your roots. We used to live here, but haven’t visited for 20 years, so now coming here was really amazing. HolidayMe gave us a good package, so it was a better deal for us. we will come back next year.
Bahrain is a beautiful city. It is very nice that we got to see it with the entire family. The package we took from holiday me were also ok and covered brekafast every day. The rooms were also nice but not 5 star standards, but still they were liveable. The guide with us was a little too chatty, but still it was an ok trip.
So we have used HolidayMe a lot, and it has sort of become our go to travel agency for any travel needs. They plan a good trip, and this Bahrain trip was excellent as usual. They gave us good hotels, and it was an amazing time we had here. We felt like royalty here, the hotel was actually that good.
Met up with a Bahraini couple on my travels to Africa, and they invited me to come to Bahrain sometimes. So after 3 years I got a gud package from HolidayMe and came over for a stay. Good trip and well planned, although I didn’t take the sightseeing options they had. It was a satisfactory experience though, and thoroughly enjoyable.
So Bahrain was an unusual choice for us for a vacation, but we had a cousin staying there who was expecting, and we went there because we got a cheap package from HolidayMe. It was a great trip, and well planned.
Well, I must say that this was a grt grt trip, with every thing well planned by HolidayMe, but I am just saying that things could have gone better… the food and the climate didn’t suit us at all, and bot my wife and I fell sick on what was supposed to be a third anniversary trip for us. The hotel was nice enough to make simple food for us, but they cudnt make home style daal or rice for which we were craving. We missed a lot of sightseeing that the company had arranged for us, but it was ok.
We had an amazing trip to Bahrain, and enjoyed a lot with our friends. so I must recommend these guys. The hotel was not that great, but we made the best of the situation. After all, you do get what you pay for.
It was a great trip to Bahrain, it is very beautiful city and with a lot of history and culture. It was a great place to spend our weekend in, and new place to discover and explore just like holiday me said. We are glad we took their advice, it was totally worth it. we would be looking forward to more such trips.
Had a lot of fun enjoying our vacation in Bahrain. We decided att the last minute that we wanted to go to our cousin sister’s wedding which was being held in Bahrain, and so we took a basic package from Holiday Me and just packed our bags and left. It was a good flight, no turbulence, and short. The hotel was also very nice although the cousin’s hotel was a bit better. Food we didn’t get a chanc to taste there becaiue we ate at my cousn’s. all in all it was a great vacation for us. so good going team Holiday Me.
Translating into “Two Seas” in Arabic, Bahrain is an island country situated along the western shores of the Persian Gulf. An archipelago of 33 islands in the Persian Gulf, Bahrain is flanked by Saudi Arabia on its west and Qatar on its southeast. The 16-mile long King Fahd Causeway connects Bahrain to Saudi Arabia. Manama is the capital and the largest city of Bahrain.
Known to be the site of one of the oldest civilizations in the world, the Dilmun civilization, Bahrain was an important trade hub in 3000 BC. It saw invasions by the Persians (4th century A.D), Arabs, and the Portuguese, until the 1820-30s when Bahrain became a British protectorate. The British ultimately ended their treaties in the Persian Gulf in the late 1960’s, with Bahrain becoming a fully independent country in 1971. Today, under the Al-Khalifa regime, Bahrain is a constitutional monarchy with a ruling King, who appoints the Prime Minister.
The main state religion in Bahrain is Islam, while the official language is Arabic, even though English is also widely spoken throughout the country. The climate in Bahrain is arid, with summers being extremely hot and humid, and cool, pleasant winters.
Besides the truly mesmerizing, high-profile, modern pearls like the stylish twin towers of Bahrain’s World Trade Centre, the super-sleek F1 racing track, the King Fahd Causeway and the horseshoe-shaped manmade islands at the country’s southern tip, visitors are also attracted by the numerous craft markets, forts, potteries and ancient burial mounds this stylish country is home to.
