Wow, I don’t even have words to describe what I feel when I seeing Dead sea and it is not really sea but actually it is a lake or river I think which has so much salt in it that everybody even peoples who don’t know how to do swimming can easily just float, I saws many people just floating with a book or a news paper in his hands and it was really nice to be there. We got a package from HolidayMe and it was really great, we got a good hotel close by but it was not very close.
Had a great time in Jordan. Best part I think was the visit to the Dead Sea, which is a lake actually. We enjoyed just floating there, there is no need for you to know swimming even. Quite a great expression, very few places like these exist in the world. we got a package from HolidayMe, which was also great.
Wow, just got back from Amman. Nice trip organized by HoidayMe, only problem was the hotel, it was not up to the mark. Staff didn’t care abt my room cleaning but its ok. Tri was quite good so no complaints.
Nature’s wonders never cease do they? Dead Sea is a superb example of that, it was really really nice to be there and see such wonderful things. It is a very beautiful place, but it is also way too crowded. There are just so many people over there, and everybody wants to get in the water at the same time, that it becomes very very crowded in the lake as well. But its ok, I didn’t mind but there really should be timings for people to come, or we will lose this beautiful wondr of nature very soon. We got the package form HolidayMe.
Very good trip frm HolidayMe, cheap cost and nice hotel from them. Amman hotel is also the very nice, and also very nice room. Happy to be here. Feel good on meeting relatives after much long time for many years.
What a trip. spending vacation in Jordan after a long time. here in Amman after many years with cousins and friends. Got a good trio from HolidayMe, very nice hotel in Amman. Cant wait to start the sightseeing, and the rest of the tour.
To know the history of Amman start with the Jordan Museum. It has recently been opened up and has very good collection of artifacts. The main highlight are the Dead Sea Scrolls. Highly recommended. The Roman Amphitheater is another good place to visit and know the Roman ties of the country. The Royal Automobile Museum is good but for non car enthusiasts it can be boring. Rainbow Street is quite hyped. We went in the evening and there was a big jam of cars playing loud music. Not recommended for people with young children and families but good for coffee and sheesha.
City has lots of history attached to it so worth visiting over a weekend. The Jordan Museum is the best with all its artifacts and information. The Royal Automobile Museum has a big collections of cars and bikes and was wonderful to know that they were owned by the Royal family. The Citadel is good but beware of irritating guides .
If you compare Amman to Jordan then it’s a small place with just time to relax and see the ruins. The Citadel is a great place to see. Take a good guide to tell you the proper history of the ruins. The views of the city especially during sunset are worth watching. The museum was a big let down. The Joran Museum is worth visiting. All the artifacts are neatly stored and labeled and helpful staff. The Dead Sea scrolls are a must see. Qasr- Al- Kharrana is just a small castle used for merchants to stay. No information provided on site.
We went to Jordan for our annual vacation because we had heard a lot about it, but we didn’t know that the famous dead sea is in Jordan. HolidayMe people told us and arranged for a trip there to be a part of our package. We enjoyed a lot, and we had great service from all the hotels that we had stayed in.
