Lebanon is a foodiee’s paradise, a dream come true. And what a package from HolidayMe. I got many leisure days so I spent them all sampling street food and fine dining dishes and it was just amazing. Wud love to come back.
Wow, Lebanon is simply amazing. This trip has been a real eye opener for me. Feels great to be here, with a moderately priced package from HolidayMe. They arranged for most things, but I arranged for the flights since I felt they were over charging. Other than that, they planned most of the other things quite well. Keep it up.
What a rich culture the people of Lebanon have and it shows in their behavior. I have been all over the world and then took this package from HolidayMe to visit Lebanon, and realized how amazing he place is. Landed in Beirut and it just took my breath away. Do not miss out on visiting Jeita Grotto, an amzing cave that looks like it has been painted by nature in rainbow colors. Everybody shud come visit Lebanon once before they die, and then they will know what it is like to preserve a culture and a heritage for years.
No other words for Lebanon but that it rocks. Went after many years with a package from HolidayMe, and it was a fantastic experience. Who would have thought it wud be this great even now, after so many years since I was here last.
I am glad I enlisted the services of HolidayMe to come to Lebanon. If I had planned the trip myself I would not have been able to travel so smoothly and effortlessly. The hotels provided by them are also very nice, and the staff is very very helpful. They written down a few phrases for me to use if I need something and cant make people understand. Rooms are also very nice, and the food is very tasty although it is very spicy, but they moderate that if u ask. Good trip, and I would be glad to recommend their services to others.
Real fun trip from HolidayMe as usual. They always plan the perfect day to day itinerary, so we actually got a couple of days of leisure days to spend in Beirut. We shopped and ate a lot, and it was an enjoyable trip.
I like Lebanon a lot, so I can only thank HolidayMe for suggesting this place for an exotic getaway their itinerary was well planned so we got to cover not just Beirut but also other cities, but nothing was an amazing as Beirut. So many heritage building and museums to visit, it was just out of this world. hotel was also good.
What a superb place Lebanon is. Beirut was amazing, and the hotel was also very nice. The people are friendly if you ask them for help, but not in some places. So better carry a dictionary with you to ask around. HolidayMe’s package was good.
Lebanon is not good much and heavily boring. Only musuems to go to and some caves which was closed on the day we go to see them. The hotel was not good and service was so slow that we go to restaurntt on our together to find the food. Then asol we no got the soup we order from menu.
I had been dreaming of being in Lebanon for such a long time. HolidayMe gave us a good package for 10 days, but it was very expensive also. Hotels are good overall, especially in Beirut. Having some really good times eating all this delicious Lebanese cuisine. Really tasty, and even the street food is amazing. Looking forward to seeing more of the country.
A Middle East gem, Lebanon is known for its sparkling history and its impressive culture and architecture. Sharing boundaries with Syria in the north and Israel in the south, Lebanon has remained largely unaffected by the instability that the countries have seen over years. Lebanon is a nation of broad-minded people and welcomes its tourists with open arms and hearts.
Even before the time that history was documented, Lebanon always had the traces of the earliest civilizations that came to be set up in its region. Somewhere between 1500 and 500 BC, there is said to be an interesting counter-culture that sailed the seas and lived off the land. They are now known and identified as the Phoenicians. Ultimately, the region came under Roman Empire rule somewhere around 64 BC, leading to the rise of Christianity. The coming of the Arab Muslims and the Ottoman Empire conquest are key events in the country’s history. The latter’s rule extended between 1516 and 1918.
Shia and Sunnis have an equal 27% share of the population, making up for more than 50% of the total. Maronite Catholics make up 21%, while followers of the Greek Orthodox religion make up 8% of the total.
The official language designated is Arabic, French is used in official matters, as mentioned in certain sections of the law. Lebanese food is full of novelties, a large portion of their diet consists of poultry, goat and lamb meat, the former in the mountainous regions. From a rocky shoreline to the coastal plains, valleys and mountains, Lebanon experiences an extended dry-run of a summer and a pleasant winter that brings in rain.
