Mumbai is the city that never sleeps. There is constant commotion everywhere. the hotel offered by HolidayMe in my package was close to the train station, and it was absolutely impossible to go to sleep. But even then the city was a revelation. Very nice locals, seems safe to roam about at night, and there are taxis always available even at night.
This was my first time booking a package for my vacation, and HolidayMe did a stellar job of ensuring a good time with my family. Mumbai is multicultural and it was a great experience being a part of it. there was a festival going on when we arrived, and the whole city was decorated with flowers and lights. It was beautiful, especially at night. The city is very safe, even at night and we saw many people taking midnight walks. Our hotel was located in a central location, so it was easy to travel to various tourist spots of the city.
My trip to Mumbai was a enjoying experience. Very nice city, but traffic is killer. The local trains are a good option, and everybody should at least get on it once. Girls can get on The package from HolidayMe covered good hotel, and the food there was very tasty. Rooms service people are also very nice, and come quickly with the food and water. But the food was very expensive, and quantity very less. For 4 people, we needed 3 plates of daal, and 4 plates of Chinese fried rice. Too much. Maybe next time, we will stay at a different hotel.
Mumbai is famous for shopping of all ranges. We went to fashion street where one can do bargain shopping and then to Phoenix Mall one of the biggest there with all international and Indian Brands. Marine drive visit was boring as nothing to do except walk and too crowded. Boat ride to Elephanta caves and visit Kaneri caves was good.
Had a bad experience in Delhi, after which Mumbai seems like a safe haven for solo women travellers such as me. Everybody seems nice and cool here, and my tour package from HolidayMe ensured a good hotel in a safe location.
Mumbai is filthy, especially towards the back of my hotel. It is just a big garbage dump, and the local trains are a nightmare. But so are the traffic-laden roads. Even with the discount from HolidayMe, I wudnt come back.
I am here in Mumbai, and enjoying a great stay thanks to HolidayMe. Their team sorted out all issues for me, before I arrived here. So here’s a shoutout to them! The hotel is a good one, in a city that defies all expectations.
Mumbai is too crowded for me, so I asked HolidayMe to design a package that will take me to Goa after staying only one night in Mumbai. There are not many attractions in the city, although the beach area is nice, even though it is a little dirty. The food was quite tasty though, it seemed hygienic to have them.
I liked Mumbai a lot becoz there are many heros and heroines here who I watch in movies. I went to see their houses, and they are near the beach and very nicely made. My hotel by HolidayMe was far from beach, but I went there on taxi to enjoy sea breeze and street food. Very nice and thank you.
Chattrapati Shivaji Terminus is a railway station, the building was made during the British era. The building is very nicely preserved. Flora fountains is near it and also old. The area around it is all commercial but nice to roam around. Chhatrapati Shivaji Museum has a good collection of artifacts from all eras, it needs maintenance so will be better.
