Very good time in Oman. My first foreignn trip with wife and son. Everybody enjoyed very much. Very nice beach, many large mosques very pretty. Qurum National Park good option, but not more to see there. City Centre very nice, and many shops for shopping. We went baoting on the sea, and saw the sunset. Very nice food near beach.
I must have been mad to not have visited Oman ever before. Thank you HolidayMe for suggesting it be a part of my itinerary. Such a gorgeous, gorgeous city, and the beaches are pristine and secluded. I wish I could have added more days to my stay in muscat. Oh well, maybe next time. Here’s hoping for similar discounts, wink wink!
Very bad experience in Muscat. The tour package from HolidayMe was fine till Salalah, but in Muscat the hotel was a bad one, with bad food and next to no service. Was not able to enjoy the city and its attractions at all.
There isn’t a lot to see in Oman, but Muscat was a revelation. So glad that HolidayMe advised us to stay here for a couple of more days that we had originally wanted to. All in all, it was a fruitfull trip.
I have wanted to visit Oman for a long time, ever since my brother went there for office work a few years ago. When I saw a package from HolidayMe that was within my budget, I knew I should grab it. what a good decision it was. We landed in Muscat, which is very beautiful, and quite modern. The hotel was also nice, and the beaches are out of this world. the package was quite well planned, and I got to see all the attractions of Oman, and also shopped a lot. One can bargain with the souk keepers for many things there.
Enjoyable time spent at Muscat, Oman. Took a package from HolidayMe, with quite a great discount. They planned everything for us, including boat trips in Muscat. The beaches here are really clean. I went with my family to meet our distant relatives, and the package helped us stay in a hotel, rather than their home which is crowded. And we also visited a couple of other cities, which the company customized for us such as Salalah. The hotel there wasn’t as good as the one on Muscat, but it was nice. I would be coming back next year, and will book another package from this company.
On this Oman package from HolidayMe, we expected some sort of mishap as always happens on tour packages. But to my delight, it was a perfect trip. In fact, we even got a room upgrade in Muscat, which is a beautiful city.
Oman is way too crowded this time of the year. My package to Oman from HolidayMe also took me to Muscat, where I enjoyed many tourist spots. The hotel was very nice, much nicer than the ones in the other cities of Oman. The service was okayish though, since the staff didn’t smile much. Maybe they should train them again.
The capital city of the Sultanate of Oman in southwest Asia, Muscat is famously known as the “Jewel of Arabia”. This beautiful city is dotted with pearl white buildings, exquisite beaches and far-reaching desert landscape, making it the ultimate holiday destination. Home to a huge expat population, Muscat is a sharp contrast to the soaring skylines of the other Middle East cities. Its ancient forts, palaces, mosques and souqs, all set against the backdrop of rocky brown mountains on one side and the cobalt seas on the other has helped it retain an old world charm.

The ideal time to visit this amazing city is during the winter months from November to March. Since Muscat is situated just above the Tropic of Cancer, it has sunny, humid weather for most of the year. However, the coolest months are December and January when the nights are cool and the day temperatures remains below 30°C. April to September is the off-season when temperatures can soar very high and the heat gets unbearable. The Muscat festival, a month-long festival that celebrates Oman’s history and culture is held in January and is a good time to visit.
