What an exciting trip this has been. Thailand is a dream come true. Pattaya was especially beautiful with little coves all around for some relaxation. HolidayMe should be offering the watersports as part of the package for ease of way.
Koh Lan beaches are much cleaner and better to enjoy or relax. Jamtien beach which is advertised is very dirty and not no1 beach at all. Sanctuary of truth is the best temple I have seen with very good wood carvings. Mini Siam and mini Europe is very interesting to see but mostly Thai attractions here, needs better maintenance though.
Landed in Pattaya a couple of hours ago. Such a beautiful place. Hotel is very nice, and I can almost see the beach from here. Cant wait to go down there. Thank you HolidayMe for recoomending a slightly more expensive but so much nicer hotel.
It was a lovely trip planned for us by HolidayMe. Pattaya is a lovely lovely place. I am glad I decided to visit this place with my husband for our honeymoon. The deal they gave us was actually fantastic with loads of freebies and a great price. The htoels cud have been better, but overall this would be one of the most memorable trips of my life. These guys are really patient, especially for first timers who are going to a foreign country for the first time, like us. Keep up the good work guys, we will come back to you next year.
Decided on Thailand for celebrating my birthday with my girlfriend. Pattaya was the best place in the country. Beaches are great for swimming and just relaxing. HolidayMe gave us a good deal for a 6 nights package. The hotel could have been better though.
Sanctuary of Truth is a religious and beautiful temple still under construction. Nong Nooch Village is a good place to see different plants and different statues of gods and animals. Pottery section is good as well as the folk show. Big Buddha statue looks very nice and good view of Pattaya Bay, many steps to climb in the hot weather.
Nong Noch Village is an entire days trip so be prepared. Nice garden with different ceramic sculptors of animals. Different themed gardens where bonsais, orchids and different plants are grown. We enjoyed the folk show a lot but the animal show was not very good. Temple of truth is magnificent. The carving is beautiful. If you are lucky stay for the folk show. Big Buddha is a series of steps to reach the main Buddha statue. Quite a number of steps and hot weather so be prepared. Nice view of Pattaya Bay and city. Koh Lan island visit was fun.
Thailand is a big bore, and Pattaya is just a rip off. There is no peace, everything is too commercialized. The spicy food there gave me the runs for 3 days straight. Very bad experience. I wuldnt go back there even if I got a better and cheaper deal from HolidayMe. Complete waste of what could have been some good vacation time.
We started our tour with a visit to the Temple of Truth. The whole temple is made of wood and being had carved. Very beautiful but very high entrance fees. Nong Noch Village is an entire days trip. The different gardens, animal sculptures and the folk show was nice to see. Better to take the train around the garden to see. At Koh Lan there are many beaches to visit. Better go early in the morning or the buses and ferry to the island all get very crowded. All the beaches are nice with options of snorkeling and underwater diving.
Pattaya looks like a picture postcard. All blue sea and white sandy beaches. Lots of watersports. The crowds do spoil the mood a little bit, but HolidayMe did warn of this being high tourist season. Anyway my friedns and I had a blast on this trip. We were hoping for bigger discounts, but sadly that didn’t happen. Hope you give us a better deal next time.
