Superb time in Singapore
by Ayushi Sikka
Singapore has always been on my bucket list, but it is only now that I found I had time to visit this place. I looked up packages online, and HolidayMe seemed to be the best by far. Their package was cheap and seemed to cover all attractions. I had an amazing trip, and enjoyed to the hilt. Memories to cherish forever.

Singapore is probably the only place on earth that is just so modern and yet so green and clean. People are also really nice, and there is a good mix of cultures. The food is awesome, and for a food adventurer like me, it was sheer heaven. I tried each and everything, from pig intestines to fried crickets. HolidayMe prepared the perfect package for a solo travelers like me, and it was also very cost effective. The hotel was also quite good so it was a trip worth going on and spending on. Would love to come back, if only for the food.

Went with a couple of friends and though I would find something like Thailand but Singapore is actually quite different and sedate. HolidayMe suggested all the sightseeing tours so it was a well organized trip for us. Good times were had.

A pleasant change

Singapore is pleasant change from our usual routine vacations. Lots of spicy food and loads of sunshine. Glad HolidayMe pushed for this destination when we asked for something out of the ordinary. Hotel was not that great but it works for us.

Great trip to Singapore
by Subhadip Dutta Gupta
Singapore trip was a huge success with my family and in-laws. Good and cheap package from HolidayMe and we also got huge discounts since we were so many people. It was a great experience, and the hotels were all great so no complaints there. Lots of things to do in Singapore, and we had packed itineraries. Just wish that we could have had some time to ourselves just exploring the place and enjoying quiet dinners. Despite that we had a great trip, it was an amazing vacationa dn we were able to bond really well.

Out of this world
by Abdul Edris
Amazing Singapore. It is truly a very diverse city or island or whatever it is. Holiday me people had told us that it would be an amazing place for a honeymoon, and they were right. My wife and I had a great time, and there were many monuments to visit on all four days, but we also got to enjoy shopping and watching shows and all. The traffic was very bad, but still I enjoyed the drives across the city. It seemed like we were in the future of the world. a very heady feeling I must tell you. Superb planning.

Singapore Tour Packages
Singapore is the face of urban efficiency, it is the story of a nation that has got through with punctuality, discipline and dedication. Yet, there is more to the region than the clustered, clean image that seems devoid of open spaces or any outlets for nature. There is a mingling of many cultures here, the distinctive quality of a thriving metropolis that attracts people from all over the world for employment, residence and tourism. Just like Mumbai in India, Singapore is a product of land reclamation.
The first people who settled here did so somewhere around the 2nd century. Courtesy the British and the East India Company, the foundation for the Singapore of today was laid way back in 1819. The country was freed from external control by the British in 1824. Post-World War II, the brief Japanese occupation of the city also ended. In 1963, Singapore was declared independent from UK rule and a part of Malaysia. The nation broke away from Malaysia in 1965 and has only thrived since then.
The four major languages spoken here as a result of cultural assimilation and immigration are - Mandarin, Malay, English and Tamil. Eating out in Singapore is a major pastime, the food variety is also the result of multiculturalism. Chinese and Malay cuisine have undergone urban changes to suit the fast-paced lifestyle.
The climate in this city resembles that of a rainforest. There is no pattern to the seasons, humidity is high and rainfall is heavy and plentiful. Almost 34% of the population are Buddhists, 18% are Christians; about 14% are Muslims and about 5% follow Hinduism. A sizeable 16% of the population follow no religion.
