I love going to Thailand, it is amazingly pretty and full of life. I love the food there, and the pubs and the nightlife. So much shopping to do in Thailand. I wish I could have spent more time there. Never mind, I hope to go back next year. Hope HolidayMe will be making similarly great discounts then too.Reviewed On : 14 Jun`16
If you want cheap booze and cheap thrills, then Phuket is the place to go. I have been there a few times, but the deal offered by HolidayMe was the most competitive. I loved the hotel too, and enjoyed myself to the hilt.Reviewed On : 14 Jun`16
What an exciting trip this has been. Thailand is a dream come true. Pattaya was especially beautiful with little coves all around for some relaxation. HolidayMe should be offering the watersports as part of the package for ease of way.Reviewed On : 21 Jun`16
Koh Lan beaches are much cleaner and better to enjoy or relax. Jamtien beach which is advertised is very dirty and not no1 beach at all. Sanctuary of truth is the best temple I have seen with very good wood carvings. Mini Siam and mini Europe is very interesting to see but mostly Thai attractions here, needs better maintenance though.Reviewed On : 04 Jan`17
Decided on Thailand for celebrating my birthday with my girlfriend. Pattaya was the best place in the country. Beaches are great for swimming and just relaxing. HolidayMe gave us a good deal for a 6 nights package. The hotel could have been better though.Reviewed On : 21 Jun`16
It was a lovely trip planned for us by HolidayMe. Pattaya is a lovely lovely place. I am glad I decided to visit this place with my husband for our honeymoon. The deal they gave us was actually fantastic with loads of freebies and a great price. The htoels cud have been better, but overall this would be one of the most memorable trips of my life. These guys are really patient, especially for first timers who are going to a foreign country for the first time, like us. Keep up the good work guys, we will come back to you next year.Reviewed On : 21 Jun`16
We enjoyed a great deal on our Thailand trip. The one place that stood out the best was Phuket, where the beach was close to our hotel, and we could hear the waves even. Bangkok and KohSamui were great too, but not as awesome as Phuket. There is a lot to do here, in the night market there are many pubs and discos. It was a good time we had. It was my first trip to Thailand, and forst experience with HolidayMe. They were very hepful with our questions and everything else. It was a good deal with discounts as well.Reviewed On : 14 Jun`16
Well our Thailand trip was a good one since we had done most of the planning ourselves, but the deal from HolidayMe was unturndownable. Very cheap, and yet quite comprehensive. Phuket was the city we loved thanks to the superb hotel.Reviewed On : 14 Jun`16
Thailand gives the impression of eternal greenery and sunshine. The temples bask in the incense of spirituality; while the beaches relish the golden sweet spread of sunshine. There are also lovely streets to walk on and markets to explore in the cities across Thailand. If you a water baby, and love swimming, scuba diving or any other adrenaline water based activity, you are in the right country. You will also find slices of history scattered around, too. If planned carefully, you could be in for a satisfying budget trip.
There is enough evidence to suggest that the first human settlements in Thailand were set up at least 40,000 years ago. As a consequence of several Indian settlers choosing Thailand as home, the influence of Indian culture was inevitable. The Khmer Empire was among the many rulers who reigned over the region. The empire’s fall saw many other kingdoms rise and fall in the 13th century. Thailand is also the only Southeast Asian nation never to be colonised, despite attempts by European powers. Presently, Thailand is a peaceful monarchy.
Thai is the official language of the country, while many other languages are also spoken along the border regions. More than 90% of the localsfollow Buddhism while about5% are followers ofIslam. The rest include Jews, Hindus and Sikhs.
You will find a variety of sensations and flavours in the Thai cuisine. Rice is part of almost any meal, lime juice, garlic and chillies are regularly used ingredients. Monsoon season is a prominent one in Thailand; and you will see a lot of rainfall here. From highlands, river valleys and plateaus, this is a country with distinct geography.
