How to Reach SWITZERLAND

There are more than one ways of reaching Switzerland which one you use will depend on various factors like – time, money and accessibility. 
By Plane
Zurich, Geneva and Basel are the key international gateways of Switzerland. Zurich Airport or Kloten Airport is the main international airport of Switzerland and receives majority of international flights along with domestic and regional carriers. SWISS is the official national airline, successor to the famous, Swissair, and serves about 70 destinations with direct and connecting flights.
By Train
Switzerland can also be reached by trains from places like Milan, Munich, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Hamburg, Prague, Vienna, Belgrade, Barcelona, among others. Even thoughreaching Switzerland via train may take a little longer than airways, it is highly recommended for the paradisiacal views it offers. 
By Bus
If you wish to travel to Switzerland by road, then traveling by bus is recommended as it is much cheaper than traveling by train. Not to mention the smooth highways make traveling by road in Switzerland a pleasant experience. By Car
If you are confident of your driving skills and are feeling adventurous you drive / driven down to Switzerland in a car. For example – You may reach Zurich from southern Germany or Geneva from central eastern France. Expect some delays and periodic checks for which cars may be stopped and no reason needs to be named. Ensure you are carrying all documents – from car insurance, to passport, to driving license (in case you are driving) and other important papers. With green pastures, lofty mountains and quaint towns - the journey is extremely rewarding. However, do mind the hair pins bends when using mountain roads and drive extremely cautiously. Another factor that needs to be kept in mind is that parking may or may not be free, so be ready to shell out extra money.
