Shopping in Tbilisi

There are a few items that are distinctly Georgian, and Tbilisi is one place you can easily find them. Kantsi, traditional drinking horns that are often tipped with silver or metal, handmade knives, large fluffy wool-hats called Papakhi, and of course Georgian wine, are some popular souvenirs tourists take home from Tbilisi.

Pokany, a famous jewellery shop located near Liberty Square displays an amazing mix of modern and traditional Georgian jewellery, mosaic and ceramics. Zarapxana stores, (known to produce unique jewellery with Georgian history flavour) are also a must-visit. In addition, antiques and small knickknacks are relatively cheap and easy to find here.
