Welcome to Serbia – the country which generated maximum limelight in contemporary history for all the wrong reasons, is now open to adventurers, backpackers and travelers alike with equal aplomb. Located in the dynamic Balkan region of Southern Europe, Serbia is bordered by Montenegro to the south, Bosnia and Herzegovina in the west, Bulgaria in the southeast, Croatia to the northwest, Hungary in the north, Macedonia and Albania in the south and Romania in the northeast. The historic city of Belgrade is the capital of Serbia and also has the distinction of being one of the oldest inhabited cities of Europe. 

Todays' Serbia is a different place. If one overlooks the horrible past and hidden conflicts, Serbia is a relatively new place to explore with plenty of unexplored destinations and attractions. The new Serbia is open to visitors and has a lot to offer in the form of medieval monasteries, national parks, quaint towns, ski resorts and a world-famous music festival!
