Moscow has consistently been listed as one of the most expensive cities on the international shopping arena. But this does not mean the city is bereft of the pleasure of bargain. Petrovka Boulevard is a haggler’s paradise where you can get your hands on all the items that Russians would not otherwise mind splurging on. Beads, breastpins, gold-leaf antiques, sable full-length coats along with furs, Russia’s famous vodka in a wide spectrum of flavors and caviar are some of the exotic buys that you get here at cheap rates.

The Main Universal Store of Moscow named GUM, abbreviated term for Glavnyi Universal Magazin embraces three arcades that run parallel and house some of the top and most expensive brands of the country and the world.

The TSum presents itself as a noteworthy rival of GUM. Its gigantic six-storey historic style edifice shelters top European offerings. The mall has seen many a celebrities coming to bloom and extol its presence. The stars who are regular here include Victoria Beckham, Naomi Campbell and Milla Jovovich.

The Tsvetnoy Central Market is a fashion hub dominated by fashion enthusiasts of varying measure. At the basement you will find vintage labels of fashion items sold by local fashion buffs while the fourth floor witnesses some of the avant-garde designers of the country. The fifth floor embraces a fresh basket of vegetables and meat stuffs at the farmer’s market which can be prepared into your choice of delicacies at the sixth floor and savored at the seventh floor while taking a glimpse of the stunning landscape of the massive city.
