One of the most popular islands in Greece; Mykonos is a part of the Cyclades group of islets and is located towards the southeast of the mainland. Popularly known as “Ibiza of Greece”, Mykonos is famous for its endless stream of parties in the summer and sees a huge number of tourists flocking the region during that time. There is much more to this mesmeric, eye-pleasing land than the hedonistic nightlife and parties. In Greek mythology, Mykonos is said to be the battlefield where the ruler of the Olympian Gods, Zeus, took on the pantheon of the incredible Titans who were eventually slayed by Hercules.

A popular holiday destination, this place is thronged by celebrities and business titans among others during the busy summer months. There are many tourist attractions in Mykonos. Away from the glitz and glamour of this island, the architecture and the culture of the place also speaks a lot about the Greek grandeur.
