Shopping in Sofia, Bulgaria

Mall of Sofia was the pioneer in introducing mall culture shopping in Bulgaria in 2006. It has 130 retail outlets which house several international and Bulgarian well- known brands. Jewellery, fashion, toys, accessories, shoes, furniture, home brands, and many more are available under one roof. Apart from shops, restaurants, cafes, a food court, Piccadilly Supermarket, and a wonderful IMAX cinema is present in the Mall of Sofia. 

Sky City Mall is spread over four floors. It has a supermarket where everything from food to drinks is available. City Centre is the most modern Bulgaria shopping mall opened in 2006. The “Cine Grand” movie plex shows Hollywood, local, and movies from all over the world. Serdika Centre is the biggest mall with 210 shops and the best cine courts and food courts. Sofia Ring Mall is the latest mall with 400 brands and a 10-screen multiplex. 

Souvenirs are the best things to buy in Bulgaria. Zhenski Pazar or “The ladies Market” is a noisy, colourful, and boisterous market full of stalls selling from local cuisine to local souvenirs. It is the biggest and most famous outdoor market. Vitosha Boulevard is the place to experience traditional Bulgaria shopping. Veliko Tarnovo old town is famous for its pebbled streets and quaint cafes and coffee shops. Trinkets, souvenirs, books, handicrafts, handmade jewellery, and fine Bulgarian pottery are some of the popular Bulgaria souvenirs to buy.

Shopping in Plovdiv, Bulgaria

The Mall Plovdiv is located in the city centre. It has around 110 shops with various local brands. It has various restaurants, cafes, food courts, and a movie plex. Galeria Mall is the biggest in Plovdiv and has over 100 stores. It has an all-year-round skating rink and has the tallest rock-climbing wall in all of Bulgaria. The other points of attraction here are simulators, skating rinks, billiards, bowling alleys, and tennis tables.
