Cannes is a glamorous city situated on the French Riviera coast, on the south-eastern side of France. It is world-renowned for hosting the annual Cannes Film Festival that takes place from mid to late May and welcomes the world’s leading celebrities to walk on the red carpet. Once a small fishing village, Cannes has now transformed into an alluring seaside town which is also considered the social center of Europe. The city is also famous for its alliance with famous personalities, luxurious hotels and restaurants, and for being the center of various conferences.
