Getting Around in CHIANG MAI

Tuk Tuks are a great way of travelling around the city. They are easily found throughout the city and have inexpensive prices.

Songthaews are essentially trucks featuring long seats on the sides. They are cheaper as compared to Tuk Tuks and can be found all over the city

You can also hire a car and driver, or rent a car. It is a comfortable option and hence will be expensive in comparison.

Another option is to rent a motorbike and cruise all over the city.

How to Reach CHIANG MAI

By Air

Chiang Mai International Airport is located at a distance of 10 minutes from the city centre. The airport has good connectivity with numerous Asian countries. An array of international airlines fly to Bangkok, where connecting flights can be taken to get to  Chiang Mai.

By Road

Buses from the Chiang Mai Arcade Bus station run on an hourly basis to Bangkok.

By Rail

Chiang Mai’s train station is located close to the city centre has a good number to trains to and from Bangkok. Journey time is roughly around 12 hours.
