Located west of the Dubai Creek, Dubai’s Hindu Temple, referred to locally as Shiva and Krishna Mandir, caters to the large Hindu community in the United Arab Emirates and is the country’s only Hindu temple.

Comprising of two temples belonging to Hindu Lords Shiva and Krishna, thecomplex was built back in 1958 and is run in union with the Indian consulate in Dubai. The temple also performs Hindu marriage ceremonies. Apart from Shiva and Sri Krishna, you’ll also find paintings of other Hindu gods like LordGanesha, Goddess Durga, Goddess Lakshmi, and Sai Baba.
Interestingly, the temple sits next to a Mosque in the busy Bur Dubai area. Milk, coconut, fruits, flowers and sweets are given to Gods offerings by the devotees here.

Please note that you’ll find long ques of devotes during weekends and holidays, and thus we suggest you visit this small temple on weekdays.
