Dubai Visa and Passport Requirements

Citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations are not required to procure any visa and can use their respective national ID card to enter UAE for work, stay and travel purposes. Residents of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia can also avail this facility. Citizens of European Union except Ireland and United Kingdom are entitled to stay up to 90 days to 180 days and do not require visa. 

Residents of European countries not part of European Union like Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Seychelles, Switzerland and Vatican City also can stay in UAE for 90 to 180 days without any Visa. 

Citizens of Australia, Brunei, Canada, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, United Kingdom and United States can obtain a free visa on arrival and can stay for 30 days with free extension. 

All other nationalities are required to apply for visa in advance which also requires a sponsor from the country. Hotels and travel agents of UAE also facilitate visa formalities for their customers as well. 

All kinds of entry and visa are denied to Israeli citizens and passport holders.
