One of the easiest and fastest ways to reach Greece is via flights from othet prominent cities around the world. The country’s largest airport is AthensEleftherios Venizelos International Airport located near the Athens suburb of Spata. The airporthandles about 15 million passengers annually and connects Greece tothe rest of the world. Also, Aegean Airlines S.A. is the largest Greek airline that serves around 145 destinations with direct or connecting flights.

Visa Requirements for GREECE

Greece is one of the participating Schengen countries that have agreed to allow free movement of their citizens within this area as a single country. A Schengen Visa is issued by the authorities to the interested party for travelling to and within the Schengen Area. 

The detailed list of such countries can be checked on the internet. The citizens of countries which do not fall in the list of Schengen countries, however, have to apply for a visa.
