Things to Do In Guilin

  • Go for a river-cruising in the Li River. You may get your boat organised by your hotel and make a headway to Yangshuo.
  • Take a 90-minute boat tour along Guilin city during the night when the scenery is splendidly lit.
  • Watch the Dreaming Li River show, a theatrical dance and music performance soaked in ethnic Chinese culture.
  • Take a foot massage, pedicure, foot soak at foot reflexology parlour. It doesn’t pinch your pocket much and the staff are pretty courteous.
  • Visit the Reed Flute Cave which is located in the Guangming Hill, in the north-western outskirts of the city.
  • Visit Yangshuo located 65km away from Guilin. This is an ancient city with a sumptuous history dating back to 2000 years.
  • Visit Guilin Elephant Trunk Hill, that is the most famous peak at the junction of the Li and Yang rivers. The arched hole there, the sobriquet water-moon arch closely resembles Elephant sipping water.
  • Visit Folded Brocade Hill, that faces Li River’s west bank is in the North of Guilin city. The uncommonly styled rocks attract tourists.
  • Do some river-rafting in Wupai River Drifting in the White waters.
  • Visit Guilin Shangri-la park, an ethnic theme park where there are wide range of local nationalities and their cultures are themed.
  • Visit the Guilin Merryland Water Resort that houses a beautiful golf-course with 27 holes.
  • Visit the Xiongsen Bear and Tiger Mountain Village to have an eyeful of the tigers, bears, lions and other wild animals in their natural habitat.
  • Stroll around Zhongshan Middle Road which is a famous commercial street flanked by diverse shops and boutiques. Also, there is also a night market to mention selling miscellaneous products ranging from tasty snacks and other local products.

  • Free Things to Do In GUILIN

    •Visit the Guilin Art Museum to admire the yesteryear Chinese architecture and the small souvenirs from history. The museum is at 170 Longchuanping Road and admission is free.
     
    •Visit the Pagoda Hill and Tunnel Hill Park which falls in Chuanshan Alley Qixing, in Guangxi province. There is a famous Buddha temple, remnants of Ming Dynasty. More, you can stroll along the bank of Li River to feel rejuvenated.
