Nội Bài International Airport is the only International airport in the city. It acts as the common airport for Hanoi and some of the northern cities. This airport has flights connecting the city to major global cities like Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur among others.
Intercity buses help connect Hanoi to cities like Nanning (China) and Vientiane (Laos.) These buses can be caught from Southern Bus Terminal and the tourist office respectively.
Hanoi’s main train station is located in the Ba Dinh district of the city. Several international trains connect the city to international cities like Beijing and Nanning in China. These trains can be caught from the Hanoi Train Station A and Gia Lam station respectively.
Xe Om (Motorcycle taxi) – These motorcycle taxis are unregulated in nature. With fares starting from ₫ 10,000, these are ideal for escaping traffic and when the group size of the travellers is small.
