Kyrgyzstan has retained their visa on arrival policy since December 2015 and gives visa exemption and/or visa on arrival to several nationalities. Residents (with a valid Resident Permit) of United Arab Emirates can obtain a one-month tourist visa for Kyrgyzstan on arrival at Bishkek airport and can stay there visa-free for a period of 60 days.
If you are a citizen of one of the below countries with a valid UAE resident visa (valid for at least 180 days after you arrive in Kyrgyzstan), then you can get visa on arrival at the Bishkek Airport:
Please note that your Resident Permit must be valid for at least 180 days from the date of your arrival to Kyrgyzstan.
Citizens from Armenia, Moldova, North Korea, Azerbaijan, Russia, Cuba, Georgia, Tajikistan, Vietnam and Kazakhstan can enter Kyrgyzstan visa free and can stay there indefinitely. Countries like Mongolia, Serbia and Ukraine are also visa-free for a period of 90 days.
All the countries that are not included in the exempted from issuing a visa must apply for a Kyrgyz visa from one of the Kyrgyzstan Diplomatic Missions. Since September 2017 tourists can also apply for their visa online through the e-visa system.
