Getting Around in MANCHESTER

Buses: The bus service in Manchester can take you to almost any part of the city. However, tickets can only be bought with cash, so you must have the exact amount of change ready.

Metroshuttles: This brilliant bus service (which is free) runs from Manchester Piccadilly and passengers can get on and get off at stops all over the city.

Trams: Metrolink is a tram system that runs through the centre of Manchester and out to the suburbs. This mode of transport is quick and convenient.

Taxis: There are two kinds of taxi services in Manchester- Black cabs and Minicabs. Black cabs are licensed by the local council and minicabs are not. Also, minicab drivers charge very high fares.
