Pryvitanne! (Hello in Belarusian)

Built on the scenic banks of river Svisloch, Minsk is a very contemporary city. A City thar dates back to the 16th Century, Minsk was totally wrecked during WWII and re-built in the 1950s. Today, this industrial capital of Belarus is all about the Soviet architecture, modern ensembles, green boulevards, fountains, fashionable cafes, restaurants as night clubs. However, hints of traditional architecture is still prevalent on the wide streets at the neo-gothic Red Church, the Cathedral of the Holy Ghosts and Pobeditelei Avenue.
