The city is the best known for delicious food.  It offers delicious Nice cuisine and the best wine in the country. If you’re wondering what to eat in Nice, we would say some local dishes of Nice such as the Socca (a pancake made from chickpea flour and olive oil), Salade Niçoise (a salad made from Niçoise olives, hard-boiled eggs, anchovies, tomatoes and olive oil), Le Pan Bagnat (Salade Niçoise in a sandwich) Pissaladière (an appetizer made from a thick bread dough with caramelized anchovies, black olives and onions), Farcis Nicois (stuffed vegetables).

Ratatouille (a vegetable stew made from zucchini, aubergines, tomatoes, capsicum, olive oil and herbs) and Daube (a variation of the traditional meat stew). Tourists should also try the seafood offered in the restaurants near the beaches.
