Oman Visa and Passport Requirements

To enter Oman, a passport valid for at least six months is required by citizens of all countries. However, nationals of Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates do not require a visa to visit Oman, they can use their National ID cards to enter the nation. 
Additionally, any individual who has a visa or passage stamp of the Emirate of Dubai valid for no less than 21 days can also enter Oman visa-free. Same is the case for those who have a valid Qatar visa (for at least a month) and nationals belonging to visa on arrival eligible countries for Qatar. 
Citizens of the following countries can get a Omani visa on arrival for 30 days, extendable once for a fee of 20 Omani rial (OMR). 
Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Hong Kong, Iceland, Indonesia, Japan, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Macedonia, Malaysia, Moldova, Monaco, Norway, Paraguay, San Marino, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Suriname, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United States, Uruguay, Vatican City, Venezuela as well as members of the European Union. 
Residents of New Zealand may obtain a visa on arrival valid for 3 months which again, is extendable once for a fee. Citizens of China, Russia and Ukraine can get a visiting visa provided they’re visiting Oman for tourism purposes and are arriving through a local tourist agent or a hotel or as a family. 
Please note that Israeli nationals are refused admission to Oman, and will not be granted a visa.
