Things to Do In Prague

  • Stroll along the iconic Charles Bridge and marvel at the sculptures and gargoyles that add to its grandeur.

  • Visit the Lennon Wall– the graffiti laden wall was originally dedicated to John Lennon and pop music and has come to symbolize the resistance of the Czechs to the erstwhile communist regime.
  • Indulge yourself and have the delicious Trdelnik at the City Square, a traditional pastry that is made from freshly-grilled dough with a generous sprinkling of sugar and walnuts – truly a blissful treat!
  • Pay a visit to the Beer Museum – well it’s a pub in the Old Town that serves more than 30 varieties of beer, including some with very interesting flavors – try the rich chocolate beer, or the fresh cherry brew, or even a brew made from blueberries!
  • Marvel at the centuries old manuscripts and books that are part of the extraordinary collection at the library of the Strahov Monastery.
  • Visit the Museum of Communism that documents vividly the excesses of the Communist years, and ends with galleries of the “Velvet Revolution” that brought an end to the years of repression.
