How to Reach SERBIA

By Air

There are five international airports in Serbia, and Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport is the largest and busiest of them all. Situated around 18 km away from downtown Belgrade, the airport connects the country to several prominent cities in Europe, the Middle East and northern Africa. The major airlines operating at the airport include Aegean Airlines, Aeroflot, Air Cairo, Air Serbia, Austrian Airlines, Air France, Etihad Airways, Lufthansa, Pegasus Airlines, Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines and AtlasGlobal Airlines. A number of regular flights to Serbia arrive at the airport from several prominent destinations across the world. 

By Road

A plethora of bus operators like Zoran Reisen, Fudeks and Niš-Ekspres provide regular buses to Serbia. A number of buses connect the country to various prominent destinations like Hungary, Vienna, Bulgaria and Macedonia. Apart from this, one can also reach Serbia via car. The well-connected network of European highways facilitates a convenient road journey. 

By Rail

The Belgrade Centre Railway Station, located in the municipality of Savski Venac in Belgrade, is Serbia’s main railway station. It welcomes regular trains to Serbia from destinations like Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Romania, Macedonia and Bulgaria. The Belgrade-Bar line is counted amongst the most scenic railway routes in Europe. It features plenty of bridges and tunnels, including Mala Rijeka, the world’s highest railway bridge. It also offers breathtaking views of the Dinar Mountains. A trip on this railway line is often considered one of the highlights of Serbia tourism.
