Visitors holding visa or residence permits of other GCC countries can travel visa-free to Georgia for a duration of up to 90 days (note: the GCC resident permit should be at least 6-month old for Georgia visa exemption).
There are numerous countries that are exempted from requiring a visa to Georgia and are allowed to stay in the country for a maximum period of one year.
Some of these countries include Saudi Arabia, State of Kuwait, State of Qatar, Kingdom of Bahrain, Oman, Switzerland, all European Union countries, Brazil, South Africa, Russia, Mexico, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Canada, Turkey, United States, Seychelles, Armenia, Panama, Norway, Colombia, Mauritius, Thailand, Malaysia, Iceland, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Moldova, Qatar, Russia, South Korea, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uruguay, and many more.
All the countries that are not included in the list of countries exempted from issuing a visa for up to a period of one year, must apply for a visa at the Georgian diplomatic missions from their respective countries. However, it is a must for citizens from other nationalities to carry their passports.
When it comes to the visa policy of Georgia, following are a few documents that will be required by the citizens of exempted countries, when applying for a Georgia visa – a recent passport-sized photograph, a passport that is valid for at least a minimum period of six months from the date of applying for the visa, the required consular fee, and a fully completed and signed Visa Application form.
